After her studies at EM Lyon Business School, Virginie Delmas studied at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art in Dijon in classes for adults, and at the CEHA (Centre d’Étude d’Histoire de l’Art), then at Hélène Legrand’s studio in Saint Germain-en-Laye. She carried on and enriched her training in printmaking techniques at Heatherley School of fine art (London) and in Japanese prints beside Rebecca Salter at London Royal Academy.

Her artworks are frequently exhibited and are part of private collections in France, England and the United States.

The pictorial work of Virginie feeds itself by her constant study of the world she lives in and the people she observes.

Her works are the combination of a gesture, an unexpected detail. Each fragment of posture, captured on the spot, reveals the poetry in the ordinary. In short, Virginie Delmas singles out the very essence of the world surrounding her.
