Different Energy Sources

Different energy sources refers to the different ways we can capture and utilize energy. They include renewable and nonrenewable forms of energy. The type of energy source we choose is based on a myriad of factors, including how it affects the environment as well as how accessible and affordable it is.

In 2018, fossil fuels (oil natural gas, and coal) were responsible for 81 percent of all the energy used in the world. But these nonrenewable sources for energy can impact the environment in a variety ways. For example, oil drilling wreaks havoc on communities and wildlife Fracking is a source of water pollution and coal power plants emit carbon dioxide.
